You will have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy, excellent communication skills and an ability to work as part of a Multi-disciplinary team.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a mental health setting, preferably Primary Care Mental or Community Mental Health setting is desirable as well as a positive attitude to people with mental health problems.

You will be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and have continued to develop your clinical skills, especially for working with mild to moderate mental health issues and using low intensity psychological therapies. Computer literacy is essential. Training, support and supervision will be provided.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively to various work locations throughout of Wester Ross, part of Skye & Lochalsh District within NHS Highland. Full current driving licence and use of car for work purposes are essential requirements of this post.
