We are looking for a Logistics Manager to join our team in Bedworth . As a Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the sites entire transport function. You will motivate the transport team and oversee the smooth running of the Transport operation, ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Working pattern: Monday - Friday with rotation of remote weekend on call

What you’ll do:
You will plan and deliver all operations transport activities through your team of Transport Shift Manager, to ensure the required level of service is provided Effectively motivate, manage and inspire your team to develop and grow the skills of their team Drive Continuous Improvement within the operation Provide inspirational leadership to your team and work in partnership with M&S & our customers to ensure productivity, accuracy and cost targets are met and exceededWho you are:
Proven Leadership Experience is essential Experience of working in a large, complex transport function - ideally within temperature controlled/FMCG distribution A passion for encouraging teamwork, with an innovative approach to leadership CPC Licence Excellent customer relationship-building skills Strong commercial awareness An analytical mindset with a good understanding of reporting and recording performance statistics Relevant transport management systems knowledge Flexibility to work within a fast-paced 24/7 businessWhy Gist?
