PositionOverview:

The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to contribute to the schools dynamicDesign Technology department inspiring the next generation ofpassionate individuals. The role entails fostering a love forthinking in students equipping them with essential skills for themodern age.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and rigorous DesignTechnology lessons aligned with the national curriculum and schoolseducational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotesstudent curiosity problemsolving and collaboration.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providingconstructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the DesignTechnology department and across the school to enhance the learningexperience.
  • Stay abreast of currentpedagogical approaches and developments in the field of DesignTechnology.

Qualificationsand Experience:

  • ABachelors degree or higher in Design Technology or a relatedfield.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or anequivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Design Technology at thesecondary level.
