Weekend Requirements: Rotating: Startat 0700 Friday morning ending at 0700 Monday morning. MUST be ableto respond within 30 minutes:

OnCallRequirements: 6/7 calls per month (includes their weekendof FridaySunday Fridays off if not their weekend)

COVID Vaccination: Covid vaccine is notrequired but is recommended (if offered the facility would likeproofs if available for governmental reporting purposesonly).

Travel Policy:WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDESWITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing pleaseinclude the perm address in the profile upload.

The following is a list of types of surgeries/proceduresperformed: Orthopedic Ophthalmology Podiatry Obstetrics/gynecologyEar/Nose/Throat Urology General surgery and Endoscopy.

  • Assists surgeon as scrub nurse according toprescribed standards.
  • Assists in the surgicalteam as the 2nd circulator when directly supervised by a RegisteredProfessional Nurse who is functioning as the 1stcirculator.
  • Assists in housekeeping duties andcleanliness of the department as directed to ensure a safe patientenvironment.

The SpeareSurgical Services Unit consists of 2 Operating Rooms and 1Endoscopy Suite.

4050 casesper week

Cases per day varydue to service line: 14 or 512 Endos

Variety is great for that traveler who prefers todo something different every day

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • 3 years ofprevious Surg Tech experience Required
  • Must be able to scrub all routine and emergentcases in Ortho General Endoscopy Sports Medicine Gynecological andCSections Required
  • MUSTHAVE CATARACT AND TOTAL JOINT EXPERIENCE PLEASE NOTE PROFICIENCY ONPROFILE
  • Critical Care AccessHospital experience Required
  • Must be OK toassist with duties in Decontam Sterile Processing and EndoscopyRequired
  • NBSTSA certification ormilitary with 10 years experience Required
