We are seeking a skilled Planner on a long term contract working on a Nuclear Defence project in Berkshire. This site-based role involves supporting the Head of Planning and the Engineering Package Manager in developing and maintaining a detailed engineering program for a major defence project.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the engineering element of the programme using Primavera P6.
  • Interface with supply chain partners and conduct regular reviews.
  • Facilitate interactive planning reviews to minimise schedule impacts.
  • Act as an expert advisor, providing planning support to improve data quality for reporting.
  • Collaborate with Programme Planners to ensure overall delivery alignment and resolve issues as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 in an enterprise environment.
  • Current Security Clearance at SC level or above.
  • Proven site experience in delivering projects on schedule.
  • Expertise in earned value analysis and schedule management.
  • Ability to develop WBS and schedules from limited information.
  • Experience integrating engineering delivery with M&E, general building, and complex plant work packages.
  • Strong skills in progress interrogation, critical path analysis, and developing "what-if" scenarios.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
