Key Responsibilities:
Produce used car content for on a daily basis when required – with particular emphasis on supporting the Parkers used Cars For Sale section and building quality ownership content Produce new car finance and leasing content for on a daily basis when required – with particular emphasis on supporting the Car Leasing section and building quality finance-focused content Track the performance of their content and report back as required Report all content plans in and work with site editor to deliver the correct cadence, volume and variety of content to meet business needs Hone the relevant tone for the layperson; come up with innovative story-telling ideas; ensure content is published and seeded across the relevant social channels Participate in personal and branded social media to promote content on Facebook, X (Formerly Twitter) and other emerging platforms Encourage link-building – by seeding out our stories in appropriate forums and other third-party websites with the assistance of the SEO team to encourage links back to our domains Work with stakeholders across the Bauer digital team to ensure they have full visibility of all relevant content and its performance Create and deliver used car and new car finance newsletters Commission relevant content from freelancers where required and agreed, plus edit and write engaging copy for evergreen features sections on the site Ensure that product knowledge of used cars and car finance is up-to-date Process Cap HPI data to keep ahead of used car trends Process trends to identify the best finance content Offer affiliate support for revenue-generating sections of Parkers and CAR Act as an ambassador for Parkers and CAR when on eventsWhat You'll Bring:
Expert Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of used car products and relevant PR operations. Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities with a keen understanding of our used car audience. Content Creation: Proficiency in developing high-quality content, understanding search keyword strategy, and on-page SEO.
