Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a Nursery Manager for our brand-new Nursery.

We are looking to recruit an outstanding, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Manager, who can nurture a family environment throughout the nursery. You need to be passionate about the role and to be able to be creative within the nursery to make it the best it can be for all children, families, and staff.

The Nursery Manager works closely with the Director whilst also being expected to work autonomously about everyday management responsibilities. The role requires the confidence to make decisions considering the reputation and financial aspects of the business whilst balancing a high degree of sensitivity to the needs of children and families.

Job Purpose:

  • Be responsible for company adherence to Banana Moon policies and procedures, while consistently meeting legislative requirements and following the education curriculum; delivering standards that ensure the highest possible inspection grading.
  • Ensure that the training, support, mentoring, and supervision of the staff team inspires and leads the ambitious practice.
  • To promote a successful and profitable business, engaging with the local community and marketing the nursery to reach maximum occupancy whilst providing excellent customer care.

Pay: Up to £38,000.00 per year

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification- SVQ level 3/4 or BA/PDA Childhood Practice Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience
  • Minimum of 1 year’s management experience
