About the Role:

As our Supply Chain ERP Product Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery and service of ERP products in the Supply Chain IT domain throughout their entire lifecycle. You will be responsible for both short term tactical planning, delivery of product updates and releases, as well as the longer term road-mapping and maintenance according to business needs and priorities. The successful candidate would manage a Supply Chain Product team consisting of functional and development professionals and would be a pivotal member of the overall ERP team responsible for the end to end ERP service supporting the fast paced Formula 1 business.

You will be charged with leading the newly established Supply Chain Product team and its associated service to the MBGP business as well as being the driving force behind the Supply Chain Product and associated applications throughout their entire product lifecycle (Introduction, Growth, Maturity, Decline). Remaining calm under pressure, in this role, you will jointly create a roadmap with business partners, you will be responsible for managing the Supply Chain backlog as well as gaining buy-in from other teams and the broader IT department to deliver according to plan. You will show good judgement based on data and experience ensuring any necessary decisions required are made in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will provide the vision, leadership and support for the product vertical covering the end to end business process of planning, sourcing, receiving and controlling materials following the appropriate design phase, and then ensuring the manufacturing and assembly is executed in the most efficient manner meeting all quality and compliance requirements

You will consistently engage the team to have a can-do attitude and inspire others to be the best, empowering the Supply Chain Product team. When opportunities present themselves, you will use external and internal trends to capitalise to make improvements.

Other responsibilities include:

Working with internal stakeholders and third parties to establish partnerships.

Translating business strategy into product strategy.

Being the key contact towards the business for the product and its associated service.

Plan and carry out product launches, releases, improvements and fixes.

Monitor, report and improve product performance.

Articulate the product vision.

Manage any Product backlog.

To be successful you will have:

Essential

Proven experience as a SAP Product Manager or similar.

Proven experience of line management.

Proven experience of Product delivery following an Agile approach.

Excellent planning, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

Will embrace working in a fast paced, high frequency change environment.

An understanding of product lifecycle management.

Considerable experience in the SAP Supply Chain domain.

Significant experience as a line manager of both functional and technical resources.

Deep functional understanding of SAP Supply Chain related modules (MM/PP/QM/PS).

Minimum 2 full lifecycle implementation experience of S/4HANA.

Significant experience of process and use case mapping.

Deep understanding of digital trends in Supply Chains.

Significant experience of SAP Best Practices.

Desirable

Experience of SCOR model.

Experience of Industry 4.0 and Lighthouse Smart Factory.

Experience of right sourcing models (on-shore, near shore, off-shore).
