We are recruiting for a shop assistant to join us at Derwentside Immigration Removal Centre female only accommodation, where we are responsible for all aspects of detainee safety, security and welfare provision, facilities management and catering. 

The shop assistant will provide secure, effective and efficient shop services within Derwentside IRC. The shop assistant will supply a service to residents and colleagues with a customer focused approach.

They key responsibilities of this role are:

To provide a service to residents and colleagues with a customer focused approach To ensure supply and demand is managed effectively To ensure stock is maintained, recorded and monitored To perform any other reasonable duties as instructed by the management team To complete all training that is a mandatory requirement

What you need to do the job:

Qualifications:

Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 as a minimum

Technical:

Excellent computer and typing skills inclusive of Microsoft Word and Excel

Knowledge & Skills:

Stock rotation Excellent Communication skills
