DescriptionWe are on the lookout for a proactive team player to join our business development team supporting the Referrals Manager, Business Development Managers and working with and reporting to the Business Development Director to achieve successful outcomes. This is predominately an office based role in our Support Centre in Belper, working 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Referrals Manager in all aspects of the referral management for Esland
  • Supporting with all incoming referrals (via email, phone, and online portals)
  • Work with the Business Development Managers to understand the unique individual requirements of all Esland services, so that you have a thorough understanding of appropriate referrals for their services
  • Triage referrals in line with the above to and provide feedback to the LA’s where referrals are deemed inappropriate
  • Track inappropriate and appropriate referrals and offers on our CRM system Gold-Vision
  • Ensure all new placements are entered accurately and in full onto Gold-Vision at the point of placement
  • Support all services to obtain any paperwork required for them to make appropriate placement decisions
  • Be target driven
  • Work with the wider Business Development team to identify new contacts and opportunities within the LA’s 
  • Contribute to the delivery and referral processes of the BD team 
  • Manage LA and internal enquiries and be the first point of call for Esland
  • Maintain links with Local Authorities, Commissioning Officers, and Placement teams to create a positive working relationship
  • Manage the LA contact database, on our CRM system
  • Oversee the IPA`s (individual placement agreements) for the organization, and maintain a spreadsheet of all IPA`s
  • You will work with key stakeholders to ensure that all placements are well-matched and safe putting the best interests of our young people first
  • Attend Team Meetings 
  • Attend relevant training or external events
  • Be part of a team and have fun
  • Overtime, after training and development potentially lead on all referral management for schools across Esland 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Strong IT and excel skills – ability to produce reports, database management experience preferred
  • Direct to customer experience – selling or customer service experience required
  • Strong communication skills supported by demonstrable ‘listening’ and ‘responding’ skills
  • Experience of achieving / delivering set targets and / or KPIs
  • Direct to patient / client care or NHS experience a significant advantage
  • You are a team player with a positive approach to all tasks and communication
  • You can be tenacious and are confidentially able to challenge
  • Competent communicator and excellent verbal and written skills
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • You will role model the Esland values, and work well with the team
  • Experience in the role would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
