The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pupils' learning and development. You will work closely with our dedicated team of teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support that meets each child's unique needs. Your proactive and engaging approach will help to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support pupils' social and emotional development through positive interactions and encouragement.
- Engage in active, hands-on learning activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting.
- A proactive, energetic, and engaging approach to supporting pupils.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN education is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
