Overview
We are seeking a new team member to work 1:1 with our client in their own home in the outskirts of Edenbridge. Supporting day-to-day you will help the client achieve their personal goals and pursue their interests whilst providing clinical and personal care support.
About the client:
You would be working with a gentleman in his 30’s who has a passion for everything fitness and physical wellbeing. With typical days spent between the gym, swimming pool, trampolining, massage, yoga and his home you would be someone who is keen to share and encourage these passions. Alongside this you would attend art sessions as well as access the community together in order to attend shows at the theatre (primarily musical comedy), go shopping and meet with friends.
Our client has clinical needs due to his quadriplegic cerebral palsy. These include PEG feeding, medication administration and moving and handling. He communicates via eye movement or typing on his iPad.
Ideal candidate:

- Someone self-motivated and able to work under their own initiative
- Someone with keen attention to detail, who is observant and calm
- Someone who likes animals – particularly cats as our client has a lovely cat in his home

Requirements:
- Previous paid care experience of 3 months full time caring for clients with complex needs within the UK.
- You must hold a full UK drivers license and have access to your own vehicle due to the remote location of the clients home.
