We are looking for a  Support Co-Ordinator  who shares our purpose, to join our expanding Independent Living Services Team  where we house and support young people 16+ under Local Authority Care across Bristol  and South Gloucestershire.   

We have properties in Yate, Henbury, Emersons Green, Kingswood and soon Bedminster.We need people who are flexible to work from any of these locations (a car driver is preferred, due to the spread of homes however we are open to hear from non drivers and we will support with a bus pass).

We are looking for someone to work Full-time  (40 hours per week) or  P art-time  on a rota basis . We need people who are  flexible  to  work varying shifts  including  sometimes a pattern of (late shift into sleep shift into a morning shift) if we have young people who need 24 hour support.

We provide bespoke support packages to suit a broad range of young people ranging from 24/7 to a few hours per week. Our focus is to provide the highest quality of support in line with Ofsted Standards . We aim to enhance individuals' independence skills, empowering them to advance their aspirations with greater confidence and capability.

Accurately document notes on our computer system and ensure seamless communication with support staff for effective handovers.

Application Information:

Position:  Support Worker (Supported Accommodation) (Job ID 904)

Hours:  Full-time is 40 hours a week. Part-time also available. Shifts are on a rota basis including some weekends and Sleep shifts.

Contract:  Permanent

Location: Various locations across Bristol and South Gloucestershire

Pay:  £26,373.33 to £27,733.33 full-time equivalent Band C (part-time will be pro rata) plus an additional £8,320 per year if completing two sleep in shifts a week (£80 Sleep per sleep shift). Bank is £12.50 per hour, plus holiday pay accrual

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.

^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You'll need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
