Locum Consultant in Trauma

Job summary
Applicants are sought for a 6 month locum full time Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
The post would involve working at Hull Royal Infirmary, Castle Hill Hospital and potentially East Riding Community Hospital and Goole Hospital.
The basic job plan would consist of 10Pas with the option to increase to 12 PAs.
The job plan would consist of elective clinics and elective theatre sessions.
There would be no on call commitment.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work directly for the foot and ankle orthopaedic department with no on call commitments.
Duties other than those clinical duties specified will be in accordance with the Job Plan agreed between the Appointee, the present Consultants and the Chief Executive. The Job Plan allows time for Administration, also for Teaching as required, within SPA Participation in audit/appraisal and CME is mandatory under clinical governance/GMC guidance. This is allowed for in the flexible SPA element of the job.
Secretarial support and appropriate office accommodation and IT facilities will be provided.
