DSV are recruiting for an experienced and motivated National RFQ Specialist to join our team of freight forwarding professionals in Feltham.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the UK RFQ process, from preparation to submission. The successful candidate will be astute in the RFQ process and will have a keen eye for detail.

Key Tasks

Co-ordinate and manage the local RFQ process from preparation to submission Liaise with various stakeholders to gather all necessary information for RFQs, including internal departments, customers, suppliers and vendors Prepare and compile RFQ documents in accordance with RFQ requirements and company standards Analyze and evaluate RFQ documents, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions to ensure successful RFQ outcomes

Duties / Responsibilities

Ensure all RFQs are submitted in a timely and accurate manner Continuously monitor RFQ results and provide feedback to the relevant parties Maintain accurate records of all RFQ documentation and ensure they are filed and organized properly Participate in post-RFQ meetings with clients and internal stakeholders where necessary Maintain and manage periodic rate updates for awarded business

Skills and Competencies

A minimum of 2 years of experience in freight forwarding & pricing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Dynamics Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
