Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Staff Nurse within the Out of Hours District Nursing Service.
The position is offered on a permanent basis.
What you will do:
You will be responsible and accountable for the ongoing assessment, development, implementation and monitoring of health care ensuring that the highest standard of service and care is delivered in a consistent and safe manner, within the home and clinical setting.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
As a registered nurse with current NMC registration,you should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative, and a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community.

Hours: 23.7 hours per week
You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of service which will involve rotation of shifts/base to ensure provision of service over the out of hours period over 7 days.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
A car driver with current UK licence is essential as travel across Ayrshire is required.
