What does the role entail?

As the Sous Chef, you will be pivotal in leading the kitchen brigade, ensuring high standards are consistently met. Working closely with the Head Chef and management team, you will oversee kitchen operations and staff training. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining the Michelin-starred reputation, contributing to the overall success and smooth operation of the kitchen. You will be responsible for upholding the quality of food and managing ordering and invoicing. Additionally, you will help foster a positive work environment, ensuring the team remains motivated and focused. This role offers an incredible opportunity for career growth, with the potential to step into a Head Chef position within a year.

What skills will you have?

The ideal candidate for this Sous Chef position will possess strong leadership and organisational skills, with previous experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Experience in a Michelin-starred or AA rosette kitchen is highly desirable. You should be passionate about delivering consistent, high-quality food and have excellent communication skills to manage and motivate the team effectively. Above all, you should be enthusiastic, dedicated, and a team player, committed to maintaining standards.
