Role Specifics

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Resources and Planning
Location: Bristol
Division: Infrastructure
Reporting To: Programme Manager - Resources and Planning

Purpose of role

The Future Leaders Graduate Programme is a 2-year programme designed to give you the skills, knowledge and experience to work in our Planning and Resourcing Team.

What I will be focused on - Key responsibilities

Throughout your two year programme, you will be given the responsibility to manage compliance and assurance for subcontract work; this role is a real opportunity to take ownership and make a difference. The successful graduate will work with their wider team to design, manage and implement new processes within the resourcing and planning function. You can expect to be working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including our production teams, our procurement team and the wider supply chain. You will be someone who has a real eye for detail and someone who enjoys working with, analysing and producing strong data which will be used to better understand our business and drive positive change.
 

About you - Person Specification

Can collaborate as part of a team
Good organisational skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of Windows and Microsoft software
Minimum 2:2 in chosen Degree
Show an interest and drive to be part of the Rail Industry and Colas Rail
Work independently and in a team using your own initiative to support the delivery of successful projects
