Our client is a leading global entity in standards, certification, and testing services, particularly recognised for its work in regulatory services and the certification of medical devices. The organisation is dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality and performance across all operations and is currently looking to enhance its data capture and analysis capabilities.
Role summary:
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead a critical digital transformation project aimed at standardising and digitalising data capture, integrating predictive analytics, and developing simulated testing capabilities. The Programme Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding this multi-phase project from inception through completion, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead a multi-phase project to digitalise data capture, standardise data reporting, integrate predictive analytics, and develop simulated testing capabilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal teams, including the innovation team and other key stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Team Building: Assemble and manage a team of engineers, software developers, and other specialists required for the project's success.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Data Integration: Oversee the unification of data into a single output format and the development of tools for data analysis and predictive testing.
- Simulated Testing: Drive the initiative to implement simulated testing methods to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Budget Management: Manage the project budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and potentially integrate third-party tools and services to support project objectives.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and the board on project progress, challenges, and successes.
- Commercial Acumen: Identifying additional client requirements and offering solutions
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager, particularly in digital transformation projects.
- Strong background in either software development or engineering, with the ability to build and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects with complex requirements and deliverables.
- Knowledge of data integration, predictive analytics, and simulated testing methodologies.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
