Responsibilities
  • Deliverengaging and effective lessons in Mathematics to students rangingfrom primary to secondary educationlevels.
  • Plan prepare and assess curriculum andcoursework in accordance with the schools standards andguidelines.
  • Establish clear objectives forlessons and communicate them tostudents.
  • Engage with students individually andin group settings providing feedback and support to foster theiracademic growth.
  • Manage classroom behaviour andensure a safe and positive learning environment for allstudents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues parentsand other stakeholders to ensure students progress is monitored andsupported.
  • Stay uptodate with the latestteaching methodologies pedagogies and curriculum changes in thefield of Mathematicseducation.

Requirements

  • Bachelorsdegree in Mathematics or a relatedfield.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) orequivalent teaching certification.
  • Provenexperience teaching Mathematics at primary or secondarylevel.
  • Strong subject knowledge andunderstanding of the nationalcurriculum.
  • Excellent classroom managementskills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivatestudents to achieve their fullpotential.
  • Effective communication andinterpersonal skills to engage with students parents andcolleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability tomeet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Passion foreducation and commitment to ongoing professionaldevelopment.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure andBarring Service) clearance or willingness to obtainone.
