GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher to join a dynamic school in Ashford, Kent. As a Music Teacher, you will inspire students to explore their musical talents and develop their skills in both practical and theoretical aspects of music. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a love for music and a track record of motivating students to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
  • Support students in developing their musical skills and understanding, both in individual and group settings.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to contribute to the school’s extracurricular music activities, including concerts, performances, and events.
  • Ensure the music curriculum is delivered effectively, meeting the educational standards of the school and the UK education system.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience teaching Music in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
