We are thrilled that due to the expansion of the neonatal psychology service we are able to advertise for wte to join our team. We are able to offer both full time and part-time permanent positions. There are exciting times ahead with the development of the new neonatal unit at QMC. This affords us lots of opportunities for service development. Main duties of the job

The neonatal service in Nottingham provides tertiary level neonatal care for premature babies and their families atQueen's Medical Centre and City Hospital, the service is the north hub in the East Midlands for neonatal intensive are proud to offer both medical and surgical intensive care for extremely premature and very sick infants, as well ashaving an integrated outreach team in place to support babies and families once they return post holder is required to work as a member of the neonatal services clinical psychology team which delivers careon both City and QMC post holder will provide a specialist clinical psychology service to babies and their families or carers accessingneonatal services; providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation and interventions; offering consultationon psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues, working autonomously within professional guidelines and theoverall framework of the department's policies and procedures. To provide initial psychological intervention throughconsultation and training to the multi-disciplinary team and relevant multi-agency networks. To use the highest qualityof psychological evidence and clinical accountability to inform and enable best practice.
