About this role

We are seeking a dynamic Performance Improvement Lead to partner with our Leadership Teams to manage and deliver key initiatives aimed at improving business performance.

As a partner to Operations Managers and Business Leaders, you will share accountability for site results and the execution of our business unit strategy, encompassing Health & Safety, Compliance, Production, Financials, Asset Care, and Improvement.

This role involves continually pushing performance boundaries and driving significant cost efficiency ensuring actions align with business plans.

Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional teamwork are critical, as you lead and deliver key improvement projects across all levels of the organisation.

You’ll utilise tools, DMAIC methodologies and mentor multidisciplinary teams including Operators and Maintenance Technicians on troubleshooting tools and ManEx practices. Leveraging performance data analytics alongside internal and external insights, you will drive continuous improvement activities and support Operation teams in embracing an integrated approach to continuous improvement.

Furthermore, you will own and report on performance improvement and practice progress to achieve world class standards of process control and root cause problem solving, and ensure effective contractor management on-site.

This role also involves supporting Capex projects and project engineering for asset and process improvements.

About you

The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience in a similar environment with ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance organisational effectiveness and improve business performance.

The candidate should be a natural leader with a proven track record in identifying opportunities, developing business cases, and successfully delivering and embedding change using effective project management techniques.

The candidate should have demonstratable experience of utilising manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S and Lean Six Sigma. They must be capable of interpreting and analysing data sources to identify loss and waste, cost-saving opportunities, and trends, and possess basic financial awareness and understanding of business drivers and budgeting processes.

NEBOSH qualification is advantageous but not essential for this role.
