Sports Coach

Location: Doncaster
Salary: £80 - £100 per day

Are you passionate about sports and inspiring young minds? GSL education South Yorkshire are on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join a vibrant school in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on students’ physical education and overall well-being.

About the Role

As a Sports Coach, you will be at the forefront of promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle among students. You will organise and lead sports activities, provide coaching and mentoring and work closely with the PE department to deliver engaging and effective physical education lessons. Your role will also involve planning and overseeing school sports events, encouraging all students to participate, and fostering a love for sports and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality sports coaching sessions.
  • Support students during PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities.
  • Organise and manage school sports events and competitions.
  • Maintain and prepare sports equipment and facilities.
  • Encourage students to participate in physical activities and promote a healthy lifestyle.
  • Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sports Coach or in a similar role.
  • A genuine passion for sports and physical education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in sports coaching or physical education is desirable.
