We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Regional Farm Advisor at Castle Farm Vets.

Location: Barnard Castle site and field-based

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday

About the role: 

We are looking for someone who has a passion for delivering value and making a successful contribution to a small cross-functional team. This is a field-based role so the ability to travel is essential.

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

Building and maintaining client relationships Identify new business opportunities which include but is not limited to new markets, new clients/ farms/ buying groups, new products to help promote our business Providing support at Trade Shows and attending Marts Supporting and working with farmers regarding animal health

An excellent communicator A self-starter with the ability to plan and prioritise workload A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills Have a passion for Agriculture and understand the challenges that our clients face Possess a strong understanding of the company's products and services, the competition in the industry and positioning Have the energy to grow the practices and their services, looking to not only offer cleading clinical care but be the go-to farm vets within their region Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
