Parish Administrator for St Georges & St Pauls Church, Tiverton

Closing date for applications: 26th April 2024

Hours: 30 hours per week

St Georges and St Pauls Church in Tiverton is recruiting an administrator to join the staff team and practically support the churches ministry. They are seeking a well organised, flexible individual who has excellent communication skills and a good level of administrative experience. You will be a welcoming first point of contact for members of the public and the congregation whilst running a busy office. Regular tasks will include preparation for Sunday service, managing their premises bookings, assisting their treasurer with bookkeeping and updating their church database and calendar. An ability to prioritise workload and to balance weekly tasks alongside longer-term work is essential.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their existing administrative skills and after a thorough induction you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, while working together with the vicar and other ministry team members to fulfill the churches mission to our local community.
