A typical day in the life of a Junior Data Analyst:

  • Gather data from various internal and external sources.

  • Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Assist in maintaining and updating databases and data systems.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present data insights to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with senior analysts to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Collect, organise, and maintain large sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources including CRM systems, financial records, and customer feedback.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data models and analytical frameworks.

  • Contribute to ongoing data analytics projects by supporting data preparation, analysis, and documentation.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide support as required.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new analytical tools, and technologies.

  • Propose and implement improvements to current data collection, storage, and analysis processes.

What we are looking for:

  • 1-2 years experience in data analysis or a related field. Internships and academic projects involving data analytics are advantageous.

  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (, Tableau, Power BI or similar).

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Excel for querying databases.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.

  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to clearly present complex data in a simple and actionable manner.

  • Ability to analyse large and complex data sets to identify key insights and trends.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to continuously improve and learn.

It would be desirable if you had a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Or an equivalent qualification such as Data Analyst L3. It would be advantageous if you had experience within the health, fitness, or hospitality industry.
