The Clinical Director will be part of the Imaging triumvirate with the Imaging General Manager, and the Site Lead Radiographer. They will report to the Divisional Director and work closely with the Associate Director of Radiographers/Sonographers and the Divisional Director of Operations in leading the services in the Allied Health Diagnostic, Pharmacy and Cancer Division at Royal London Hospital. As part of the imaging triumvirate, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of these services against the goals and standards for quality, safety, activity, financial management and workforce. The Clinical Director will line manage the Imaging Clinical Leads and have a strong line of partnership working and collaboration with other senior leaders.

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Director reports to the Divisional Director, with a professional line to the Medical Director for Royal London Hospital.

The AHDPC Division is relatively new, our existing Clinical Directors has completed three years in the role. Current and potential Clinical Directors/Leads are encouraged to consider whether you have the skills, drive and personality to carry out this important and demanding role. You need not be based within the existing specialty to apply.
