Role: Project Manager  - Financial Crime (CDD Standards - Data Dictionary)

Location: London - Hybrid - likely 2-3 days in the office per week

Contract Duration: 6-month contract is likely, inside IR35 through an umbrella company

Starting: ASAP


This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations at the beginning of a large-scale, complex programme for one of our premier Banking clients. This role is to support a Financial Crime Target Operating Model programme.


Overall purpose of the role


This role is responsible for creation and managing delivery plan overseeing production of a CDD Data Dictionary across the banks customer journey (inc. workflows, processes and technology)

Key Accountabilities

  • Has experience in Leading data initiatives and determining approach utilising document analysis and creating structure to methodically work across business line teams to reach objective
  • Leads and manages project resources to deliver activities in alignment with agreed CDD programme plan and agreed approach
  • Experience of working with both Business units and Data/Technical teams in delivering Data Dictionary outcomes.
  • Experience of working within a Financial Crime Transformation environment and or/Regulatory Change project
  • Experience of CDD, AML and Financial Crime Business Processes within Financial Services
  • Assess and escalate material risks and issues to Workstream Lead for awareness and resolution
  • Understanding and experience in specific control pillar aligned processes, technologies, tools and methodologies to support downstream design and consolidation of processes

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • Project Management/Business Change experience in cross functional teams, specifically within data led environment.
  • Experience of Data Dictionary approach and production, facilitating requirements across multiple business units
  • Experience in of working with Data/Technical teams in delivering Data Dictionary outcomes.
  • Experience of working within a Financial Crime Transformation environment and or/Regulatory Change project
  • Experience of CDD, AML and Financial Crime Business Processes within Financial Services
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders and disseminate information from existing documentation in order to determine current state
  • Experience with change management and stakeholder management
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
