Reports to: Renewals Team Leader
Location: Solihull
Hours of work: 9-5.30
Summary and purpose of the Job:
The Renewals Specialists play a crucial role in managing and renewing contracts with clients and ensuring the continued satisfaction and retention of customers. This position requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of managed services, and a strong focus on customer relationship management. You will work closely with the sales and account management teams to ensure timely and accurate renewals and identify upsell opportunities. You will also maintain and update the renewal database

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
The extent of your duties will include but are not limited to:
Monitor and track the expiration dates of managed service contracts. Proactively initiate discussions with clients regarding contract renewals. Prepare and present contract renewal proposals to clients. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements to secure renewals. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Address client concerns and challenges, providing solutions to enhance satisfaction. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the renewal process Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in managed services. Educate clients on the benefits of renewing their contracts and any new services or enhancements available. Collaborate with technical teams to address client inquiries and technical requirements. Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or solutions to existing clients. Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and profitability from existing clients. Maintain accurate records of contract renewals, negotiations, and client interactions. Ensure that contract renewals comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review and approve contract terms. Collaborate with offboarding and billing teams to confirm terms and ensure billing correctly
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
Basic English and Maths Previous experience in contract renewal management, customer relationship management, or a related role within the MSP or IT services industry preferred. Understanding of managed services, IT solutions, and technology trends. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts and data privacy (optional). KPI driven with a focus on revenue generation and customer retention.-
