The role is primarily to carry out routine incoming material inspections, dispositioning, and transacting material on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In addition, there will be a requirement to carry out first article inspections, write up FAI reports and work with suppliers to arrange processing and shipment of critical devices.

There will be some involvement with supporting other areas of the Quality management System as outlined in the Key responsibilities below.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and ISO45001 Health and Safety management systems.

Carry out routine incoming material inspections, dispositioning, and transacting material on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Carry out first article inspections and write up FAI reports.

Processing and submitting NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and communicating internally and with supply chain as required to resolve.

Respond to Contract Electronic Manufacturer requests for critical devices and process orders and shipments ensuring compliance with ESD protocols.

Carrying out internal audits and manage internal audit findings and responses. Supporting supplier audits and follow up of audit responses.

Update regular Quality department reports and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) as necessary.

Analysis of company data to help identify potential quality issues and support initiatives to improve product performance and processes.

Initiating Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and Engineering Request Notes (ERN) based on analysis.

Conducting internal audits to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management Systems and following up audits actions.

Attending Materials Review Boards and processing MRB.

Support company Continuous Improvement initiatives as required and maintain 5S standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Ideally with a Quality background and familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14001 management system and environmental regulations.

Ideally familiar with electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical components

Confident, motivated, and well organised

Enjoys handling detail and ensuring information supplied is correct and accurate.

Good IT skills and computer literacy particularly Microsoft Office - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and use of databases.

Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is advantageous.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to work with personnel at all levels within the company.
