We are recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our established, friendly and supportive Acute Adult Therapist Team within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This is a new and exciting post which has been developed through an expansion in the bed base within Respiratory and Frailty services.

This post-holder will work with adults in an acute hospital setting presenting with a range of: acquired speech, language, communication and/or eating, drinking and swallowing problems. This post is ideal if you are an experienced Speech and Language Therapist with a current HCPC registration, and you have a desire to deliver high quality care while supporting service delivery changes within a caring and compassionate team.

We are open to considering full and part time applicants. Full dysphagia training and experience is desired for this post. There may be times you will be asked to cover other clinical Speech and Language Therapy services within the ARI site, which will offer wider opportunities and further experience. The service has regular meetings and CPD sessions and support and supervision will be available from senior specialist colleagues.
