Join Raytheon UK as a Commercial Lead

Leads Commercial activity for the delivery of existing business and/or new business requirements within cross functional teams. May lead a functional team or contribute as a sole senior Commercial expert in devising and delivering commercial strategy. The role requires the ability to understand complex data and technical requirements and translate that understanding into creating and delivering compelling Commercial business winning and delivery strategies.

Your Role:

  • Lead commercial activities for existing and new business requirements.
  • Develop and deliver innovative commercial solutions for proposals and customer needs.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and manage non-routine issues.
  • Identify and manage contract changes to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive programme and bid financial performance.
  • Create business cases and briefing materials for senior management reviews.

What You Bring:

  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements in Defence, Cyber, Training, or Aerospace.
  • Relevant business degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export legislation, especially ITAR.
  • Experience in programme financial management and risk/opportunity assessment.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and performance-driven mindset.
  • Experience in Customer/Subcontractor Relationship Management.
  • Eligibility for or current SC security clearance (sponsorship available).

Desirable:

  • Experience with diverse government customers and international suppliers.
  • Knowledge of Teaming Agreements and framework negotiations.
  • Leadership experience in multi-functional teams, including coaching and mentoring.
