We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an SEN Teaching Assistant at a well-established client secondary school in Wilmslow. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the educational development of students with SEN.
This position starts from Thursday 5th September, and will run full-time until the Christmas holidays (in December). The successful applicant who gets on well in this position, may be offered a permanent contract from January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement individualized education plans.
- Support students in developing essential life skills and promoting their independence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the unique needs of each student.
