Dental Instructor

We are recruiting for an outstanding individual to join us as a Dental Instructor (Dental Technician) to work in our Integrated Teaching Laboratory located in the School of Dentistry. This is a 1.0 FTE position, and the post-holder will be responsible for providing instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate students in technical methods relating to fixed and removable prosthodontics, together with production work in fixed and removable prosthodontics for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate students and staff.

Key priorities will include:
* Contribute to the teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students in relation to dental technologies
* Undertake production work in fixed and removable prosthodontics for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate students and staff
* Contribute to the integration of digital dental technologies into clinical workflows and support academic/ clinical staff and students in the use of digital dental technology
* Teaching, supervision, and examination of undergraduate students (BDS and BSc) and postgraduate students with an emphasis on dental technology.
* Contribute to development and delivery of lectures, seminars, tutorials, and examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including both in-person and online formats.

Who we're looking for:
* A Dental Technology qualification registerable with the UK GDC
* Full registration with the UK General Dental Council (GDC)
* Ideally, at least 3 years' post-qualification experience
* Ideally, experience of using digital dental technologies and CAD-CAM
