Secondary Teaching Assistants Needed

Location: Wandsworth

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £85 - £110 Per day

Job Description:

We are currently seeking Secondary Teaching Assistants to join our team in Wandsworth, Greater London. As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to teachers in the classroom, helping to create a positive and productive learning environment for students.

Job Duties:
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and providing one-to-one support to students
  • Help with classroom management and student behaviour
  • Support students with special educational needs
  • Prepare and organise learning materials
  • Supervise students during break times and off-site activities
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
Education:

A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or young people is advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Patience and empathy
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Working Conditions:

This role involves working full-time hours on a permanent basis within a school setting. The working hours are typically aligned with the school day schedule.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
