In this role, as a Product Integrity Manager, you will be responsible for the development and improvement of our operation processes and support the day-to-day function of product development.

Specifically, you will drive the technical research, based on field performance of our devices, to proactively improve our products. You will define guardrails, guidelines and lessons learned for Ring based on engineering and scientific principles. You will also be responsible for understanding products’ technical requirements to assure that the HW/FW compliance, reliability, safety and quality risks are mitigated through the entire product lifecycle.

You will work closely with our cross-functional product development such as product, design, and operation teams to ensure engineering and risk mitigation activities are properly addressed. This position also requires technical subject area expertise, examples include system engineering, FW/HW product performance specifications, analytical techniques, knowledge of materials, components, parts testing, qualification and validation methodologies.

Key job responsibilities
•Perform research on product usage patterns based on environmental factors, human factor in different factors
•Perform technical analysis and risk assessment based on customer complaints and returns.
•Define product test and qualification guardrails to meet product specifications, use cases and applications requirements
•Lead and drive analysis of risks based on qualification, testing and characterization results, and communicate to program teams the results
•Work with the cross-functional program team to mitigate product launch and development risks
•Perform research on new technologies, advance materials or design implementations to meet product requirements

A day in the life
You will engage with an experienced cross-functional teams and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and tests. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. As part of the Product Integrity team, you will be a positive influence to the cross-functional team in launching new disruptive products that are compliance, safe, high quality, durable and reliable.

You will be part of the team that will make Product Integrity the differentiator for Ring's success in the market place. You will be instrumental in ensuring that we design-in quality and reliability in our new product launches, driving our customers to give us the highest rating in customer delight.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field and five years of experience in a related occupation.
• Experienced communication skills in writing and presenting
• Experience with process and plan development, hardware design, hardware reliability testing, hardware compliance and quality assessment • Experience in data analytics, statistical analysis • Able to generate and execute Design of Experiments and analyze results for recommendations to design team • Experience in data analytics, statistical analysis • Able to generate and execute Design of Experiments and analyze results for recommendations to design team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· PhD degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Material Science, Physics or a related field and five years of experience in a related occupation. Knowledge of the following fields: Consumer Electronics Products, Building Standards, DFMEA · Experience with failure analysis techniques · Experience with process and plan development, hardware design, hardware reliability testing, hardware compliance and quality assessment · Able to demonstrate subject area expertise in either Battery, Security Devices, Lighting Systems, Cameras, IoT devices, Automotive Electronics or Drones
