We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Drake Hall, a women's closed prison, located near the town of Eccleshall in Staffordshire with around 340 inmates.
Hours Day time shifts only across Monday to SundaySalary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £38,115per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions. Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening. Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.

Qualifications required
Registered nurse Adult Current professional qualification (NMC) Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards Knowledge of healthcare policies and best practiceSecure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
