Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the expertise and dedication to provide tailored support that helps students thrive academically and personally? Teaching Personnel is excited to offer an opportunity for a compassionate and skilled SEN Specialist Tutor to join our team in Sleaford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to students with a range of SEN.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and address their learning challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.
- Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in working with children with SEN, preferably in a tutoring or teaching capacity.
- Strong understanding of different SEN conditions and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN (desirable but not essential).
