As the Downstream Chemicals Service Representative - based at location in Fawley, Hampshire - you will be involved in flawless execution and on time service delivery for our Oilfield & Industrial Chemicals customers within the UK operations team. 

As a Downstream Chemical Service Representative, you will be responsible for: 

Partaking in development of customer relations, account profitability and all functional elements of account management

Reviewing work activities, job programs and design through collaboration with the sales team and understanding the client’s requirements 

Looking for improvements to technical programs, products, processes and procedures, as well as preparing and updating of technical documentation including formal internal and external report writing 

Performing regular internal and external business reviews to ensure contractual performance is achieved and identify growth pathways within the account 

Troubleshooting of chemical injection and monitoring programs to exceed contractual KPIs 

Chemical inventory coordination, planning and replenishment within the specified account 

Maintaining internal compliance and HSE standards to ensure a safe working environment 

To be successful in this role you will: 

Have a STEM Bachelor's Certificate from an accredited university or college - ideally

Have demonstrable experience in an Engineering or Technology position - ideally with knowledge and working experience of refinery chemical applications and processes. 

Demonstrate experience in desalting, overhead corrosion control and fouling control. 

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with internal teams and customers 

Show the ability to work over several projects simultaneously 

Have a drive to assist in increasing business and delivering profitable results 

Hold a full UK/International driving license
