Job Description

Assess feasibility of new facilities and processes, development and management of projects for cost, quality and timing  Complete feasibility and cost evaluations for proposed new or modified facilities and processes define robust delivery plans with minimised disruption to operations.  Develop engineering solutions that are suited to the capabilities of appropriate facility and its associated process characteristics as directed.  Develop robust/lean layout solutions to support facility project delivery or process/operational efficiency improvements.  Co-ordinate the support and input of all relevant stakeholders to achieve acceptance, buy-off and successful handover of new or modified facilities.  Provide a Manufacturing Engineering support role to Plant personnel as a member of cross-functional teams for problem solving and continuous improvement activities with regard to Safety, Quality & Cost. Lead & partake in multifunctional New Equipment Procurement Teams through all project phases ensuring company procurement procedures are met & adhered to. 

Qualifications

A sound engineering and manufacturing background with previous experience in Facilities Development and Engineering. Proven experience and understanding of process conveyor technologies. Degree qualified or equivalent Engineering experience preferred. Ability to control & Manage suppliers (both Material & Equipment).  Ability to control & manage project budgets. Have a working knowledge of the application of lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
