We’re looking for a Speech & Language Therapy Lead to join our Therapy team at The Portland Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC and home to the largest private hospital-based rehabilitation centre in the UK.
Internationally renowned for clinical excellence, The Portland Hospital is the only independent hospital in the UK entirely dedicated to women and children. Our inpatient and outpatient specialties reflect this, providing clinical expertise in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Women`s Health.
Our Paediatric wards hold 56 inpatient beds + 11 day case and are equipped with the latest technology to provide advanced medical and surgical care, including a Paediatric Neurorehabilitation Unit and a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit which reflects the acuity and complex nature of the children who are admitted to our hospital
The role of the Lead Speech and Language Therapist post will be to support the team to deliver the best care and service to our patients

What you’ll bring:
Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
Registered member of HCPC
Extensive experience in Paediatrics in a clinical setting, such as an outpatient clinic or hospital.
Previous hospital and acute experience or exposure is beneficial.
Further Education - such as a Masters or Management Qualification
Experience of leading a team
