Salary Scale: £150 to £200 per day

GSL Education is currently seeking to appoint a Humanities Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Barnsley . We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Barnsley.
Job Sammary:
- Developing and delivering a curriculum covering subjects such as literature, history, philosophy, religion, art, and music.
- Helping students understand complex literature and think critically about it.
- Planning and preparing courses and lessons based on up-to-date knowledge of the subject and teaching methodology.
Role of a Humanities Teacher:
- Develop and deliver innovative lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
- Encourage students to explore diverse perspectives, think critically, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and contribute to the wider school community.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working as a teacher within an educational setting.
- Original or certified copies of your degree certificates relevant to teaching science (, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, PGCE).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate or evidence of completion of a recognized teacher training program.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the humanities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
