Your new company
You will be joining a growing insurance firm based in the City of London as their Management Accountant, reporting into the Head of Finance. This is a newly created position due to company growth following their acquisition by a larger, highly established firm. You will be part of a close-knit finance team of 4, working in their social office 4 days / week. Responsible for overseeing the 2 junior finance assistants, you will act as the Head of Finance's 'right-hand man'. Looking for a strong communicator with extensive audit, VAT, and management accounts experience.


Your new role

Audit work VAT returns Cash flow forecasting Preparation of management accounts and checking the work sent by the finance assistants Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Supporting the x2 junior finance assistants System: SUN


What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have extensive audit and VAT experience, as well as experience producing/reviewing management accounts. Exposure to the insurance sector is a bonus but not an absolute requirement. A high attention to detail is also vital, as well as strong communication skills.
