To be considered for Advanced Social Worker evidence must be clearly detailed in your application.
Social Worker: £33, - £36, Advanced Social Worker: £38, – £41, What will you be doing? You will be working with adults at risk of abuse and neglect who require support to reduce risks and improve their well being. Working within a multi agency team and keeping the adult at the centre of their safeguarding.You will: As part of this role, you will be required to complete Section 42 enquires, risk assessments and safety planning Deliver genuine people-centred, strengths-based support, with a focus on what those we work with tell us will make the biggest difference to them. Using your creativity to deliver the best outcomes for local people. Implement, review and monitor actions and outcomes in line with individual with support and protection plans. Make changes and amendments as the needs of the individual change and evolve Work in line with best practice legislation, policy and guidance to promote the wellbeing and dignity of service users It will be your responsibility to make recommendations for the implementation of reablement equipment
As an Advanced Social Worker you will be required to:
support students on placement as an experience Practice Educator be fully up to date with the core training expectations as an Advanced Social Worker use examples of research and evidence-based resources to enhance practice and share learning with team (e.g. use of Research in Practice / other online resources).
What we need from you
It is essential that you have must have a degree in Social Work with relevant registration to practice or be in the final year of your Social Work studies. You will have knowledge and or experience of safeguarding and be confident in assessing risk. You should also understand asset and strength-based approaches to adult social care. You will be a problem solver, confident about making important decisions, underpinned by a genuine passion to work collaboratively with people to meet their goals and aspirations. You’ll welcome challenge and embrace change. Advanced Social Worker:
You will be expected to travel throughout the authority and surrounding area so must have a full valid driving licence with regular access to a vehicle or have alternative appropriate means of travel.
Please note that due to the nature of this role it is a requirement of employment that an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is obtained for this post.
