We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join us to support requirements creation and lifecycle; baseline creation/management in DOORS, and general LHS support. The Ideal candidate will have experience with Rational DOORs, semi-admin experience. They must be prepared to know technical functionality, so that they can help during the Supporting Reviews and Data Analysis part.

Day to Day responsibilities -
o To support Perm staff DOORS (Requirements) database Admin.
o The tasking will include creating formal baselines from the database and performing the necessary, independent quality checks on the data output by use of existing scripts or by direct review.
o Where appropriate, performing data mining and analysis on the technical items within the database.
o Supporting the Perm staff member in holding Change Reviews and incorporation of changes into the database.
o Supporting (or even performing) the Requirements and Validation team in generating and approving technical requirements.
o Familiarity with Rational DOORS tool with focal/admin experience in running DXL scripts.
o Understanding of the Systems Requirement derivation process and importance of change control and management.

Key experience we are looking for -
o Someone who hasn't just used DOORS in the past, but who has been a super-user or Admin.
o Someone who can run the scripts we have to create baselines, and who can troubleshoot them if they don't behave.
o Able to confirm the quality of the output on the Data Analysis side
