Job Description: We are seeking a versatile person who can help run our CNC machine, aid in R&D for new products, and can turn their hand to all aspects of running our busy workshop. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in various workshop disciplines, including CAD design, CNC machining, building, fitting, and packing products and parts. If you have a hands-on approach and a desire to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise CAD software to assist in designing and modifying parts and products.
- Program and operate CNC machines to produce product parts.
- Create, read, and interpret technical drawings.
- Assemble and fit mechanical components according to specifications.
- Build and pack products and parts efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to improve processes and designs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Experience:
- Using CAD (and ideally vCarve)
- Assembling and building, components and products
- Using CNC machines, and having an understanding of tooling.
- Using hand and battery-operated tools.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of running CNCs and using CAD for design work.
- An innovator with a problem-solving initiative.
- Attention to detail, working to a high-quality standard.
- An organized self-starter, able to work according to schedules.
- A team player able to offer excellent customer service.
- IT literate.
