Are you a recent Science graduate looking to make a difference in education? GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Unqualified PE Teacher to join our client school in Doncaster.

Job Summary:

Unqualified PE Teacher will be responsible for managing the classroom, ensuring students remain on task and continue their learning during the absence of their regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive PE lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Supervise and manage a classroom during the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Support the planning and delivery of the PE curriculum alongside experienced colleagues.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure students remain on task.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events related to physical education.
  • Assist in the assessment and evaluation of student progress.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students as needed.

The successful candidate will:

  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • A strong passion for physical education and working with young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or working with children is desirable but not essential.
