Salary - £27,700 pro rata per annum

About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Early Help Development Worker. This role is a job share, based in Balsall Heath, Birmingham on a fixed term contract. Working 18.5 hours per week.
The aim of this role is to make a positive difference for children, young people and families that results in:
Healthy, happy, resilient children and families. Families supported to make positive changes. Children able to attend, learn and achieve at school. Young people ready for and contributing to adult life. Children and young people safe from harm.To achieve this aim you will be required to provide flexible, practical, documented family support as required by the Early Help Voluntary Sector Early Help contract in line with the Right Help Right Time framework.
You will deliver early intervention and prevention initiatives to support to families and young people build resilience, focusing on the service aims, families` preferences and self and professionally assessed risks and needs.
This role requires the post holder to work with a multi-agency team of family support officers, community, voluntary and statutory services. As the role is focusing on children and young people`s health, wellbeing and education there will be a need to work closely with statutory, Birmingham Children`s Trust and community partners to help meet the aims stated above and implement structured change for the family.

About you
Ideally you will have Safeguarding, Right Help Right Time training; GDPR and data protection. This is desirable but not essential.
This role will require you to have experience within Networking and reporting.
You will have the ability to independently travel.
You will have experience of working in an engagement role with diverse community settings with statutory and third sector organisations.
Experience of responding effectively to safeguarding issues and concerns. This will include excellent communication and organisational skills.
Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord.
