Are you passionate about early childhood development and eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We have a nursery in the Putney area seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly team of professionals.

They have created a beautiful facility is designed to support creativity, exploration, and development through a wide range of engaging activities, where they are able to provide high-quality care that focuses on the individual needs of each child, while promoting a strong foundation for future learning.

As a Nursery Practitioner is to provide high-quality early years education and care for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development in a nurturing environment. You will be responsible for planning and implementing stimulating activities that support the children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. By fostering a supportive, inclusive, and positive atmosphere, you will contribute to each child’s physical, emotional, and social growth, while maintaining strong relationships with parents and working collaboratively with colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and development
  • Provide exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5 years, supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Plan and implement exciting and educational activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and creativity
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Work closely with a dedicated team to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for both children, parents and staff
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • A full and recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • A proactive, positive, and nurturing approach to childcare
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding policies
